          INNOVATIVE LESSON PLAN 


Title: Traffic Light Model for Digital Behaviour Awareness

 1. Introduction : As part of the Third Semester B.Ed. curriculum, an innovative teaching model was designed to promote awareness about responsible behaviour on digital platforms. The activity used a simple traffic light concept to make students actively analyze and respond to real-life digital situations. The model focused on participation, critical thinking, and value-based learning.

 2. Objectives : To create awareness about safe and responsible digital behaviour. To help students distinguish between appropriate and inappropriate online actions. To develop decision-making and critical thinking skills. To ensure active participation in the classroom. 

3. Materials Used : ICT slides presenting different digital behaviour situations Colour cards: Red – Prohibited actions Yellow – Proceed with caution Green – Approved actions

 4. Preparation of Innovative Lesson Plan : The lesson was planned by selecting real-life digital behaviour situations relevant to students. Situations were prepared in advance and included in ICT slides. Three colour cards representing a traffic signal were arranged to symbolize different types of online behaviour. Clear instructions were framed to ensure students understood the meaning of each colour before starting the activity. 

5. How the Innovative Lesson Plan Works : The teacher displayed digital behaviour situations using ICT. After introducing the traffic light concept, students were called randomly and given specific scenarios. Each student analyzed the situation and raised the appropriate colour card — red, yellow, or green — based on their judgment. Immediate feedback and discussion followed each response, reinforcing correct understanding. 

6. Conclusion : The Traffic Light Model made the classroom interactive and engaging. Students actively participated and demonstrated better understanding of responsible digital behaviour. The strategy proved effective in simplifying complex concepts through a practical and relatable method.
