PREPARATORY WEEK - INTERNSHIP PHASE 2
Preparatory Week
Report
The preparatory week was comparatively limited due to the overlap of scheduled activities such as the community living camp and related institutional engagements. As the focal week is traditionally intensive, adequate uninterrupted time for detailed preparation for Phase II could not be allotted.
However, the available time was utilized to gain a general understanding of school expectations and teaching responsibilities.
Despite the constraints, basic preparation related to classroom management, student interaction, and professional conduct was undertaken. Interaction with fellow teacher trainees helped in sharing information and clarifying doubts regarding teaching practice. This collaborative approach supported readiness to a reasonable extent under the given circumstances.
The preparatory week also helped in developing adaptability and time-management skills. The experience highlighted the need to remain flexible and professionally prepared even when ideal conditions are not available. Overall, the preparatory phase, though limited, contributed to mental readiness and orientation for Phase II teaching practice.
