WEEKEND REPORT 1
During the first week, I was able to take sessions for the students of Class VIII and gradually adjust to the school environment. This phase helped me understand school routines, classroom discipline, and student behaviour. Initial interaction with students was challenging, but observation and consistent communication helped in building confidence.
Interaction with fellow teacher trainees during this week played an important role in understanding professional conduct and teamwork within the school. Sharing classroom experiences helped in identifying common difficulties faced during the initial stages of teaching practice. This also created a sense of professional support and cooperation.
The weekend was used to reflect on the importance of patience, clarity, and approachability while dealing with adolescent learners. This week helped in realizing that effective teaching begins with understanding students and adapting oneself to the school environment.
